The Competitor Product Tab allows users to document and track competitor products directly from the mobile app. This functionality is crucial for competitive analysis and market research.
Documenting Competitor Products:
To add or update competitor product information, follow these steps:
- Select Product:
- Choose the competitor product you want to document or update. This helps in identifying the specific product being analyzed.
- Availability:
- Indicate the availability status of the competitor product (e.g., In Stock, Out of Stock). This provides insight into how frequently the product is available in the competitor’s store.
- Price:
- Enter the current price of the competitor product. This helps in comparing pricing strategies.
- Promotional Price:
- Enter any promotional price for the competitor product if applicable. This is the discounted price offered during a promotion.
- Rate of Sale (Units):
- Document the rate at which the competitor product is selling, measured in units. This helps in understanding the product's sales performance.
- Frequency:
- Specify the frequency of the sales rate:
- Weekly: Sales rate is tracked weekly.
- Monthly: Sales rate is tracked monthly.
- None: No specific frequency is tracked.
- Cross Merchandising Toggle:
- Use the toggle to indicate whether the competitor product is cross-merchandised with other products. If toggled on, it suggests that the product is promoted alongside other items.
Instructions:
Accessing the Competitor Product Tab:
- Open the Competitor Product tab on the mobile app to start documenting or updating competitor product information.
Entering Competitor Product Details:
- Select Product: Choose the competitor product from the list.
- Availability: Select the availability status (e.g., In Stock, Out of Stock).
- Price: Enter the price of the competitor product.
- Promotional Price: Enter any promotional price if applicable.
- Rate of Sale (Units): Provide the rate of sale measured in units.
- Rate of Sale (Weekly, Monthly, None): Choose the appropriate frequency for the rate of sale.
- Cross Merchandising Toggle: Toggle to indicate if the product is cross-merchandised with other items.
Saving or Submitting:
- Once all fields are completed, save or submit the information to update the competitor product details in the system.
